Design with codes B31.8-2016 and B31.8-2016 2018 now performs a stress calculation to determine the contribution of pressure to the longitudinal stress.

7.2.0_PLA_GB-50251
GB 50251 – 2015 Design code has been added. This design code implementation includes restrained and unrestrained piping and the Appendix C method for considering circumferential stress in elbows.

Individual design requests can apply multiplicative friction factors on all supports with Gap behavior, which can be used to study sensitivity to the friction properties.
